What does TOG mean?

TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) is a simple measure of how warm a blanket is. The higher the number, the warmer it keeps your baby. Use it to match the blanket to the room your little one sleeps in.

Static-free, from the weave up

Plush minky is wonderfully soft, but soft synthetic plush is exactly the kind of fabric that builds up static on dry winter nights: the little zap when you tuck your child in or pull the blanket up, enough to wake a light sleeper. So we wove fine anti-static filaments into the minky lining as it's made. They carry the charge away before it builds up. There's no spray and no chemical finish, just a physical part of the fabric itself, tested by SGS.

The result: no shocks at bedtime, no crackle when the blanket is shaken out, and far less static cling, so it doesn't pick up as much fluff, dust and pet hair through the day.

Static-free, from the weave up

No more static zaps

Whenever the air is dry (a cold snap, the heater on, the air-con running), fabrics rub together and build up static. That little zap when you tuck them in or pull the blanket up is enough to give a child a fright, and to unsettle them just as they're dozing off.

We deal with static the physical way, not the chemical way. Fine anti-static fibres are woven into the minky as it's made, and they quietly carry the charge away before it builds up. No chemical treatments or finishes, and nothing to wash out over time. Tested by SGS. Less static also means less cling, so it won't pick up as much fluff and pet hair.
