Safe use

For sleep, place baby on their back in a cot, wrapped below the shoulders with the hood folded under. Stop wrapping at the first signs of rolling or by about 3 months. Never drape it over a pram. Under 2, keep blankets out of the cot.

Materials and care

Outer and lining: 100% Supima® cotton, 50s fine knit.

Care: machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C or below, separately, with a baby-safe detergent. Do not bleach. Line dry. Cool iron if needed. Do not dry clean.

Safety

Always place your baby on their back to sleep. Keep the swaddle below the shoulders and away from the face. Leave room for the hips and legs to bend. No hood in the cot: keep the face and head uncovered. Stop swaddling with arms in at the first signs of rolling or by about 3 months, whichever comes first. Padded wraps are for awake time only, not for sleep.

Do not leave baby unattended. Check for damage before each use. Keep away from heat and flame.

Four simple folds

How to swaddle

  1. Lay it flat

    Spread the swaddle out as a diamond and fold the hood corner back underneath. Lay your baby on their back with their shoulders at the top edge, so the head and neck stay above the wrap.

  2. Fold up the bottom

    Bring the bottom corner up over the feet, leaving room for the legs to bend at the hips.

  3. Fold in one side

    Fold one side across your baby's body and tuck it gently underneath.

  4. Wrap and fasten

    Fold the other side over, then wrap the soft belt around and fasten. Snug, but never tight.
